
Airclic and AirVersent have joined forces to create a leading mobile supply chain and logistics software provider
Airclic, a provider of software products that improve the performance of mobile supply chain management and logistics operations, announced the merger of the two companies.
AirVersent provides visibility and control across the mobile supply chain.
The newly-formed organization will work under the Airclic brand to provide SaaS-based products that automate mobile supply chain and logistics operations for global enterprises.
The new Airclic has over 270 customers globally and will strengthen its position by adding domain expertise, multiple technology patents and a channel program partner as a result of the merger.
Operational integration of the two companies is already underway, with Airclic CEO Rick Pontin remaining in his position. Meanwhile, Michael Lee, AirVersent’s CEO and founder, will serve as President.
Its corporate headquarters are located in Trevose, PA.
Commenting on the merger, Pontin said: “Our merger represents the union of two powerhouses in the mobile software industry that have a shared commitment to address the exploding mobile supply chain and logistics needs of enterprises both large and small.”
The company’s customers come from multiple industries, including courier/3PL, food distribution, retail distribution, clinical laboratory services, medical supplies distribution, transportation and facilities management.
