Airclic Continues Torrid Pace in Delivering Mobilization Solutions for Extending Core Business Processes

Best Quarter in Company History Highlighted by Deals with Leading Companies including Alaska Air, Circuit City, Konica Minolta, and Ryder

NEWTOWN, Pa., May 15, 2006—Airclic®, a leading provider of business process mobilization solutions, today announced that the quarter which closed March 31, 2006 was the most successful in the company’s history. Marked by new or expanded agreements with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), Alaska Airlines, CD&L, Circuit City Stores, Inc., Konica Minolta, Ryder Logistics and a number of other industry leaders, the company continued to enable any size company to implement easy-to-use, low cost, flexible mobilization solutions. The company more than tripled its growth in sales and customer acquisitions as compared to the same quarter last year. Additionally, during the quarter the company continued to expand its sales and distribution channels through partner agreements.

“In the year that I’ve served as CEO, we’ve made incredible progress in showing that companies of any size – from enterprise to emerging – can realize the benefits of adopting business process mobilization solutions,” said Tim Bradley, CEO for Airclic. “The Airclic solution is a flexible solution that can be rapidly implemented at a fraction of the cost of previous solutions. We believe we are providing an ‘inflection point’ technology that will make mobilization of business processes available and efficient for the vast majority of businesses.”

According to Gartner, “Business-process improvement” moved up from the eighteenth spot in the CIO business priorities list in 2004 to the top spot in 2006. Additionally, “mobile workforce enablement” came in as the number three “technology priority” for CIOs.1

A study by Accenture outlined four types of business processes best for mobilization. These processes are: “Anchor” processes that enhance workflow including creating, reviewing and updating work orders and workforce scheduling and dispatch; “Supplemental” processes such as mobile inventory, asset tracking and monitoring; “Enabling” processes including signature capture, alerting or printing; and “Niche” processes that are generally applicable in specific industry segments and applications such as sales pipeline management, account and contact management.2 Airclic solutions can be easily adopted in each of these areas.

Airclic’s milestones in the first quarter of 2006 include:

  • Sales and customer growth has more than tripled when compared to the same quarter the previous year.
  • The company’s first $1 million deal with Konica Minolta to mobilize its field service repair and inventory management processes
