Rick Pontin, Chief Executive Officer

Rick Pontin was named CEO of Airclic in January 2010 and oversees Airclic’s corporate strategy and execution. Mr. Pontin brings more than 25 years of senior-level experience in the telecommunications and technology fields to his role.

Prior to joining Airclic, Mr. Pontin was Executive Chairman of Tangoe and CEO of its predecessor company TRAQ Wireless. Tangoe is a global provider of Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and services to the Global 5000. During Mr. Pontin’s tenure, Tangoe’s revenue and profitability grew dramatically. In addition, Mr. Pontin previously served as President and COO of Broadwing Communications (now known as Level 3) during a period of significant expansion. Under Mr. Pontin’s leadership, Broadwing Communications’ revenue grew by 60 percent to more than $1.2 billion in two years.  He also served as President and COO of Cincinnati Bell. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pontin held several executive positions at AT&T, MCI (now Verizon) and Sprint Nextel.

In addition to his responsibilities at Airclic, Mr. Pontin serves on the boards of Tangoe and PlumChoice. Mr. Pontin received his Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Michael B. Lee, President

Mr. Lee has 20 years of experience in the communications and enterprise software industries, both as a leader of early stage companies and as an executive in multi-billion dollar corporations. He has held a number of senior management positions with AT&T, Inc., including President of Cellular One, now AT&T in Boston. He also played integral roles on executive teams that successfully completed more than $1.5 billion in acquisitions, as well as carrying out initial and secondary public offerings.

Mr. Lee was the CEO and founder of AirVersent, Inc. prior to its merger with Airclic.  Prior to AirVersent, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer of SK USA, the U.S. headquarters of the $70 billion SK Group and owner of SK Telecom. Early in his career, he founded a company that was one of the nation’s first to commercially deploy a SaaS software solution that automated credit card and check authorization services; this successful start-up was subsequently acquired by an international funds transfer company.


Pól Sweeney, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Sweeney brings 15 years of experience in the mobile service and supply chain software industry to Airclic. As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for overall product and technology strategy, product management, and product development.

Previously, Mr Sweeney was CTO for Trimble Navigation (@Road) Field Service Division from 2005 to 2007. From the early 2000’s, he was the CTO for Vidus, a specialist mobility and field scheduling company.

Mr. Sweeney’s earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Architect for British Telecom’s (BT) Workforce Management and Scheduling project during the 1990s. He became General Manager of BT’s Work Management Development Unit, where his vision surrounding the significant market opportunity for the technology led him to develop the business plan for BT Brightstar’s (BT’s incubation unit) investments in advanced planning and scheduling solutions.

Mr. Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College, Dublin, where he graduated with honors.


James Wee, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Sales

Mr. Wee heads up Airclic’s business development and sales organization. He brings more than 18 years of business development and executive management experience in the mobile and enterprise software industries.

Prior to joining Airclic, he was Co-founder and President of SkyZone Mobile, the U.S.-based mobile applications development business and an affiliate company of the SK Group, an $80 billion a year diversified conglomerate based in South Korea. At SkyZone, he was responsible for corporate strategy and management, including marketing, sales, operations, administration, and M&A. During his tenure in that role, he led the firm to dramatic revenue growth and established key channel and strategic partnerships with leading domestic and international wireless operators, technology and media companies including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Qualcomm, MGM Interactive, and News Corp.

Previously, Mr. Wee was Sr. Vice President at SK USA, Inc., the U.S. headquarters of the SK Group, where he led several SK Group Affiliate business and corporate development initiatives in the mobile software and digital media industries. In addition, he has held key management roles at Southwestern Bell/Metromedia, SkyTel Communications, and TenFold Corporation.


Tracey Ellis, Vice President, Marketing

Tracey Ellis joined Airclic in 2006 and is responsible for the development and execution of Airclic’s go-to-market initiatives including market development, lead generation programs, marketing communications, analyst and public relations. Prior to her promotion in early 2009, Ms. Ellis served as Airclic’s Director of Marketing Operations. In this role, she was responsible for implementing the systems and processes that are key to managing the results of Airclic’s marketing, sales and customer acquisition strategies.

Prior to Airclic, Ms. Ellis held senior marketing and sales positions with Information Security Technology, Inc. (IST) where she led the company’s marketing and sales efforts, doubling service revenues in her first ten months. Before joining IST, she was the Director of Operations for Maxxum Inc., where she was involved in the reorganization of the company and saw the company attain triple digit growth.  Earlier in her career, Ms. Ellis held senior sales, marketing and consulting positions at Cognos, Parson Group and Lotus/IBM.

Ms. Ellis received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Phoenix


Steve Tremitiere, Vice President, Sales

Steve Tremitiere was named Vice President of Sales in 2009. He is currently responsible for leading the Company’s sales efforts. Prior to his current role, he was promoted to the position of Vice President of Business Development in 2003. Mr. Tremitiere joined Airclic in the fall of 2001.
Mr. Tremitiere has over twenty years of experience in technology sales management and business development. Prior to Airclic, Mr. Tremitiere spent more than 15 years in the information technology consulting industry and held senior sales management positions with Ajilon and other IT consulting organizations. Mr. Tremitiere was also the President and Founder of Unison, an IT executive search firm.

Mr. Tremitiere received a Bachelor of Science degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.


Bill McHugh, Vice President of Client Services

Bill McHugh joined Airclic in early 2010 and is responsible for the deployment, retention and expansion of customers. Mr. McHugh brings over 17 years of technology experience in customer lifecycle management, business development, and product delivery. Mr. McHugh matches customers with the best combination of Airclic’s industry focused Perform™ products and services to ensure their success.

Prior to Airclic, Mr. McHugh worked for Fiberlink and helped successfully transform the company to an industry leading mobile SaaS platform for enterprise security. During his time at Fiberlink he increased the annual growth rate of software revenue from the customer base to 41%. Previously, Mr. McHugh held a management role at Toshiba responsible for mobility growth and was a founder of the LiquidHub support business unit.

Mr. McHugh received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington.


Andy Monroe, Senior Vice President, Product Development and Network Services

Andy Monroe joined Airclic in 2000. Leveraging his skills as an innovative and successful software engineer specializing in object-oriented design and analysis, Mr. Monroe currently leads and provides strategic direction for the Company’s product development team. He has directed the development and launch of several major Airclic products including the Company’s newest products, Courier Perform™ and Clinical Perform™.

Prior to joining Airclic, Mr. Monroe served as a Solution Architect for C-Bridge Internet. In this role, Mr. Monroe built web applications and lead technical implementations for corporations that wanted to extend their technology systems to their customers.

Mr. Monroe received a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.


Cherryl Graham, Vice President, Finance

Cherryl Graham joined Airclic in 2007. Ms. Graham brings 20 years of experience in the areas of financial reporting, human resources, governance and compliance to drive performance in fast growth technology-based businesses. Her expertise also includes providing critical pricing strategy, financial modeling and mergers and acquisitions for domestic and international operations.

Prior to joining Airclic, Ms. Graham served as Vice President, Controller at Fiberlink Corporation, a venture-backed company providing mobile applications to Fortune 1000 companies, where she lead their SOX compliance initiative. Originally from England, Ms. Graham also worked for General Electric in London.

Ms. Graham received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with Magna Cum Laude honors, from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Ms Graham is also a licensed CPA.
