McCall Catering is the largest caterer in California, employing hundreds of part-time workers at numerous locations across Northern California each week.

For McCall, time tracking has been an extreme challenge. Its previous paper-based system required all employees to fill in time sheets, resulting in a weekly stack of paper that took days to validate and input. In addition to the amount of time required, there was a constant need for error-checking.

The AirClic® solution: an application that allows the supervisor at each event to scan in employees as they arrive and assign them to specific roles so that they are paid correctly. They can change these roles as the event occurs, so that a worker who is a waiter in the morning and a bartender in the afternoon is paid correctly. AirClic also installed fixed scanners in McCall's kitchen and warehouse facilities so employee time can be tracked at company locations as well.
